    Rooms To Go and the Atlanta Hawks Partner to Provide a Fresh Start for Atlanta Family

    Rooms To Go and The Atlanta Hawks transform an Atlanta family’s new house into a welcoming home.

    Each year, Rooms To Go proudly joins forces with the Atlanta Hawks to bring comfort, stability, and hope to a family in need in the Atlanta community. This initiative is more than an annual tradition; it reflects a shared commitment to giving back and making a lasting impact on the lives of local families.

    This year, Rooms To Go and the Atlanta Hawks had the privilege of meeting Ms. Oliver and her three children.

    Ms. Oliver’s story is one of courage and perseverance. Having endured homelessness and a temporary separation from her children, she faced countless challenges, including denied rental applications and even the devastating cancellation of a lease on the very day she was scheduled to move in. Despite these obstacles, Ms. Oliver never wavered in her determination to provide her children with a safe and stable home.

    When Ms. Oliver finally secured housing, Rooms To Go and the Atlanta Hawks stepped in—not only to furnish the space but to help transform it into a home filled with warmth, comfort, and opportunity.

    Rooms To Go provided four fully furnished bedrooms, complete with new beds, mattresses, and dressers, as well as a spacious living room sectional and a dining table with seating for six. Each detail was carefully chosen to support Ms. Oliver and her family as they begin this new chapter.
